School of life science and  technology (SLST) is a newly established college at HIT aimed at training  leading talents in frontier and interdisciplinary science. The college has two  divisions which are “Biomedical Research Center” and “Biomedical Engineering  Research Center. The college possesses multiple state key  laboratories such as biomedical technology and transformation laboratory and  genome editing technology laboratory with numerous young scientist's working  here. Furthermore, as a leading institute in life science research, HCLS owns  comparatively independence in academic research, personnel employment and  talents training system.

HCLS now recruits research assistant center directors, the details  are as follows:

 

Position name: Proteomics Research Center  DirectorVice Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Familiar with use, maintenance  and functional development of Orbitrap Velos LTQ, Exactive Q and other large  facilities related biological mass spectrometry to provide high quality bio mass  spectrometry services including Molecular weight determination of proteins and  peptides, identification of proteins, analysis and identification of  post-translational modifications of proteins, analysis of mixed samples of  complex proteins, and quantitative comparative study of proteome for all  laboratories in HCLS. Ability to apply biological mass spectrometry analysis  techniques to basic biology research and help to solve the major biological  problems in basic biology research on the basis of developing and perfecting  advanced technology;

Basic Qualifications:

1.Respecting laws and  honesty;

2.Master degree or above in biology (proteomics)or related  areas;

3.Good health, sense of teamwork  and professional dedication;

4.Experience in working with mass  spectrumcryo-EM and management is highly preferred;

5.If the candidates pass the  international assessment that HCLS organized, the salary can be fulfilled  according to PI standard;

6.Full scientific research  training, independence in work as an individual and also the ability to conduct  research in related work on proteome as well as publishing the  results.

 

Position name: Antibody Research Center  DirectorVice Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Familiar with the preparation,  purification and function development of polyclonal antibodies, monoclonal  antibodies to provide a full range of services for each laboratory in HCLS and  develop a new technology platform for antibody preparation;

2.Familiar with immunoassay  technology and antigen analysis technology;

Basic Qualifications:

1.Respecting laws and  honesty;

2.Master degree or above in  biology or related areas;

3.Good health, sense of teamwork  and professional dedication;

4.Experience in related areas is  highly preferred.

5.Full scientific research  training, independence in work as an individual and also the ability to conduct  research in related work on antibody as well as publishing the  results.

 

Position name: Image Analysis Research Center  DirectorVice Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Providing biological optical imaging services as well as committing  to the establishment of some new optical imaging technology  platforms;

2.Familiar with use, maintenance and functional development of related  software and facilities of the advanced optical microscopic imaging system,  including laser scanning confocal microscope, rotary confocal microscopy,  two-photon microscopy, wide field fluorescence  microscopy;

3.To conduct optical imaging  experiment with slicescultured cells and live cells;

4.To develop some new optical  imaging technology while providing services;

Basic Qualifications:

2.Master degree or above in  biology or related areas;

3.Good health, sense of teamwork  and professional dedication;

4.Experience in related areas is  highly preferred;

5.Full scientific research training, independence in work as an  individual and also the ability to conduct research in related work as well as  publishing the results.

 

Position name: Animal Research Center  DirectorVice Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Familiar with use and  management of SPF animal laboratory;

2.Providing services including  gene knockout and transgenic mice for each laboratory in HCLS. Developing new  technologies and methods for the establishment of animal disease model according  to the special needs of laboratories;

3.Preparation of transgenic  mice;

4.Preparation of gene knockout /  knock-in mice by embryonic stem cells;

5.Preparation of gene  knockout/knock-in mice by direct embryo injection using TALEN or Cas9/sgRNA  techniques;

6.Preservation of mice strains  resources;

7.Rebuilding the strains of SPF  mice;

8.Others: vector design,  consultation of genotype and phenotype analysis, etc..

Basic Qualifications:

2.Master degree or above in  biology or related areas;

3.Good health, sense of teamwork  and professional dedication;

4.Experience in related areas is  highly preferred;

5.Full scientific research  training, independence in work as an individual and also the ability to conduct  research in related work as well as publishing the results.

2.An internationally competitive  salary is provided according to relevant regulations and policies for talent  dispatch by Harbin Institute of Technology after expiration of the term for  publicity with no objection.
